Welcome to the Nevada
Attorneys for Criminal Justice website.
The
NACJ is an organization of Nevada criminal defense attorneys who
joined forces to develop a voice for the Nevada criminal defense
bar, to participate in the Nevada legislative process, and to
provide a forum for sharing information and support for those who
practice criminal defense.
Membership in the organization is limited to
attorneys who practice criminal defense in both the public and
private sectors. Members of the NACJ are located throughout
the State. The organization is open to federal, state, and
county public defenders and private attorneys. The NACJ is a
proud member affiliate of the
National Association
of Criminal Defense Attorneys
(NACDL).
The NACJ
was founded in 1989 by Donald Campbell, David Chesnoff, Douglas
Crawford, Dominic Gentile, current Mayor of Las Vegas Oscar Goodman,
Hunterton & Naylor, John Momot, Posin & Posin, Cal Potter
III, Vincent Savarese, James Smith, William Smith, former District
Court Judge Jeffrey Sobel, Michael Stuhff, Richard Wright, and Mace
Yampolsky.
